The most memorable moment during Sunday's dull Oscars telecast was accidentally provided by Channel 7 shortly after the Coen brothers won the directing award for "No Country for Old Men."
Due to a technical glitch, some astute moviegoer inside WKBW-TV's newsroom was overheard saying, "I don't believe in this Oscar ... but it's the best movie of the year." The dots in the previous sentence replace what sounded like an expletive that got on the air.
"What's it about?," asked co-anchor Joanna Pasceri.
"A guy with no expression keeps blowing up everything," summarized co-anchor Keith Radford, who isn't exactly the film critic that Irv Weinstein was. Then, the screen briefly went dark.
