Meanwhile, a suspect fuel sensor reading dashed NASA's hopes of completing four shuttle missions this year.
The spider ATE the sensor??
We're doomed.
It's like an 8-legged survivor of Arachnophobia wants to hitch a ride back to the home town in Venezuela.

Heh.
When I worked at the police department over the summer, when nothing was going on we watched the feed from the cameras posted all around the building. There was a spider that just adored the camera that watched over the police car garages. Once in a while, it would appear as if one were eating an officer's head if they were out there, standing around, smoking a cigarette or shootin' the @!$%#.

Viki,
And you didn't radio the officers and warn them that a giant spider was attacking them ? Shame on you ! Or worse yet you did not call for help that they were crawling all over your monitor !
Might have been interesting to have a video of a officer tasing a spider.....or blowing up his own security camera..

And I, for one, welcome our new arachnid overlords.

It would have been great if the guys from Mystery Science Theater 3000 were watching the feed.
