Keld Back posted this link in a comment on this seed, and very kindly gave me permission to seed it myself.

It is a very powerful and thought provoking article that needs to be widely read, particularly by those right leaning 'support the troops' types who so blindly follow Bush.

where is the freedom, if you volunteer, go there and see for yourself that it is something you don't believe in, and you have been decieved by recruiters blowing smoke up your ass? If it were one of Bushes daughters who said daddy please don't make me go back, do you think he would look at them and say, oh but you are going back! The ones that want to be there, God bless them and the ones that don't well God bless them too. They should have a choice without being condemed for the rest of their lives, right? You damn right!!
